starter home, bachelor fad

a friend is asking me to help him choose his color scheme and furniture for his first apartment that he will buy. He got a tiny budget but very fussy and not open to many colors. he also hates old stuffs like secondhand furniture. so i have to resort to ikea, the first thing he pointed out that he dislike, was the orange color lounge chair. but after convincing him the practicality of achieving a designer look without breaking the bank, and that a tiny detail of orange will complement ,5% red which is his favorite color. grey/ black 10%, white 70%, silver/torquoise blue 3%, yellow 2%.
