FASHION FRIDAY: my li'l dribbler

remember i used to do some fashion styling on a friday using  whatever i have in my wardrobe.  its a way to encourage myself to try to look after my body and well-being.   coz i believe whatever you wear will always looks better if you look after yourself.  but the life of a  full time mom is really hectic, no more gyms for me, after 25 years of being an active gym member.  even though i always promise myself not to let myself go down that root of becoming just nothing but jc's mummy.  on your own, it can be a hard motivation.  here... i still feel not fully myself.. exhausted,...lack of sleep and feeling F. A .T...

my model ....

but i wouldnt trade my new life of being a mum to this gorgeous adorable little boy..... even though he's such a handful.  here modeling his new bib collection .

MY WEEKEND: spending easter at home

Easter is a time to reflect, pray and spend quality time with your love ones.  i just dont know how chocolate eggs came to get involve in easter???  perhaps when you dont believe in god, you dont believe in celebrating easter in a biblical way.  Growing up in a strict catholic country,  easter is started with series of days of fasting and prayer(novena) or attending mass.  this is to commemorate jesus suffering and death.  then when jesus was ressurected was the time we celebrated which is the easter sunday.  i guess this is the day in our modern times where we can have the things we love in easter.

a book from a christian friend.

love this paul smith bunny from last year easter collection.

easter little something for jc.
my little easter tree

hope you all have a happy easter.....

INSPIRE ME MONDAY: pop colors to inspire happiness in your home.

here are some of my favorite this season's home decor available now at john lewis.  has anyone heard of color therapy?  well i believe on it. colors can reflect the state of mind.  and those who live with small children, colors also stimulate their brains.

these can make a contemporary mobile for your baby's room.

INSPIRED BY KIDS: a baby's den

hi!!!  especially to mum's out there,  if you are like me who like's minimalist decor  and a tidy freak but have to give up for the sake of your child's development, the important of play.  we are our child's first and most important teacher.  play helps our child to try out new things, make connections, take risks, make mistakes, solve problems and express their feelings.  playing is important for your child's learning, thinking and development.  it is also the heart of how they begin to make connections and develop their understanding of the world.

the new look of my living room....i tend to rearrange everything around so jc dont feel bored, he is a kind who likes to move and about, ( little transporters) likes movings things and carrying, pulling, emptying.  when jc goes to bed at 7pm everything goes to that boxes under those lack tables including the pop up tent. so i could have my space again.

pop up tent for a little nook. but he prefers to pull down at the moment.

my hallway as a play area.

this rug was bought in a flea market in my highstreet, it was perfect size to my narrow hallway.
