christmas countdown

hey ! its christmas all over again !!!!   Those mums who works up to christmas eve.  i feel so sorry for you cause christmas can be very stressful time of the year.  Every year i always tried to keep everything as less stress and costly as possible.  First i start very early,  I be buying christmas present starting january sales, for those who have lots of kids,  this is a practical way to save!  and you can still hunt for those bargains.

This year i decorated gingerbread cookies on my son's chritmas tree,   i have to keep on replacing it since me and my son can't help eating it.  the house would smell delicious with all the gingerbread and hyacinth blooms.

Again this year i got my old small tree,  i was thinking of selling it in ebay and wanted a real spruce but the thought of having to vacuum the pine needles.  `my son absolutely adore this little tree!  it reminds him of the movie Frozen.  I bought a new twinkling lights and decorated it with only white.  it looks magical at night.

My chistmas color scheme this year.....  white/ gold  and a touch of black.

So pleased with ikea for bringing out this one.  I been dreaming of these for so long...

Curated hand me downs

Hey there!!
Are you ready for the summer?
Me here in england has started to feel the summer.  although its been all rain all week, the temperature has been definitely hotter.
meanwhile i been clearing out my wardrobe.   I have notice that my weight was no longer these sizes and i need desperately to update my wardrobe especially its summer time.  when england brightens up and people are in happy mood!
I must confess i love fashion but hate being a fashion victim.  and women's body change all the time especially when we reached the 40's so we need clothes that is timeless and will flutter our figures.  Thanks to all the auction site like ebay, vinted, shop envy.   now i got a place to really hand down my pre- loved.  It also becomes my new hubby that friends want me to sell their items too.  he he   its not rocket science..  all you need to do is:  1.  take good photos 2.  clean them and store it in the box until you are ready  3. List them on auction sites...  TIPS:   be sensible of your pricing and give a full discription of the condition of your items  so your customer knows exactly what to expect before buying.  BE AWARE:  if you want to sell some new items regularly make sure you check with your local GOVERNMENT for taxation and trading laws so you don't get in trouble.

HERE i curated my items on sale for a LOOKBOOK  and Pin it on Pinterest.

Get Organize

Spring is a time for new beginning,  a fresh new start.
Today i feel so much gratitude in my home life that i want to leave you some inspiration,  thoughts for a happier life at home without over indulging.  To try to live within our means.  We all dream of a bigger home.  But then we are face of a reality that it is what it is.   Don't spend the money you simply do not have.  Save your money and purchase only what you really need.
The best thing in life are free...

whats wrong with Wilkenson or poundstretcher ?  if you got an eye, you can find something cheap but chic.

Create a more efficient lifestyle,  A good time management.

INSPIRE ME MONDAY: home for happy kids

A home plays an important part in a child's development and growth.  With families living in a compact home like most people in London where space is a premium and  the new  imposed  bedroom tax by the council.  People has no choice but to live in smaller space.
But living small should not be the same as living cramped.   Kids can have their space that they need.  Here some ideas on how to create a hassle-free, family-friendly home,  whatever the size.

Transform a bare wall into these.

use colors for your furnishing but keep your walls white

get creative and recycle your junk ....just look at the clever shelve from old skateboard .

Keep their toys in storage like these kitchen units bought  from IKEA.

create their own little nook where they can study, play or watch their own tv program.

If you can't find the right kids bed,  make one!

my favorite ikea hack using malm drawers.

every child should have a play kitchen.   turn an old drawers into a DIY play kitchen

Down here is  my home and my little one,  which i have to adapt to accomodate my son's need to play.

With some very simple measures, i made a humble apartment into a place where each has their own little nooks and crannies.  i create playful and safe surroundings for my son so making everyday family life full of fun and laughter.
